Coko Farm, Grade A1, Scr. 15+, Bourbon/Jackson
Coko Farm is located in the northern Gakenke District of Rwanda and was founded in 2008 by Jean Nepomuscene Habiyarimana. Growing up as a farmer’s son, he understood early on how vital coffee cultivation is for his community—a realization that eventually led him to purchase his own land. Year after year, he continues to improve the quality of his coffee.
In addition, Coko Farm has been selected as a model farm for the Farmer Field School. For several years now, it has also been home to a large number of pigs, which not only help increase productivity on the farm but also provide valuable organic fertilizer.
